Headshot of Kylene Stewart

Hi there, I’m Kylene (she/her). Growing up in Los Angeles, I quickly realized how much pressure there is to "fit in" and conform to societal norms. I believe therapy isn’t about adjusting to the world around you, it’s about discovering how your most authentic self can truly flourish.

After earning my master’s in applied psychological sciences at Pacific University, I returned to California and worked at Center for Discovery where I found my passion for supporting individuals struggling with body image and disordered eating. My approach incorporates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Health at Every Size (HAES), intuitive eating, and body neutrality to help shift unhelpful narratives and foster self-acceptance.

For all the teens out there, I get it—therapy can feel like just another chore on your list. Adults don’t always understand, and some topics are too awkward to bring up. I create a space where you can talk openly without judgment and actually feel heard.

In a world dominated by social media, it’s easy to fall into the comparison trap. I can help you silence your inner critic, break free from negative self-talk, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. And since therapy can get heavy, I make sure to bring a balance of warmth, creativity, and humor into our sessions because healing doesn’t have to be serious all the time.
