Rebecca Doppelt

Founder

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently practicing in Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, I completed my Bachelor's in Film & Video. I worked in "the biz" for over ten years and it took me almost that long to figure out why I was so unhappy. It turned out I loved the idea of making movies but not the reality of the industry. So I enrolled in the Masters program in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University with a focus on Trauma and I never looked back. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2015 and I enjoy every day of it. Being a therapist means using my attunement skills, my empathic non-judgement and my very presence to help others. My favorite thing about being a therapist is the idea that I am never helping just one person, but all those in that person's life; I'm contributing to the community. Outside of session, I have kids, a dog and an unending passion for sci-fi and sarcasm.

Couples/Twosomes

Each relationship is singular and has a different set of needs. Some couples want to prevent sinking into old patterns, others need to adjust how they communicate during conflict. I invite you to collaborate with me on setting your goals and the pace at which we achieve them. Being strength based means we will discuss what is going well in your relationship in addition to the things you would like to change. I am delighted to work with couples of all orientations. Additionally, I enjoy working with non-traditional adult twosomes such as parent/child, siblings, friends, roommates, business partners, etc.
